Why am I frusterated? Because people keep e-mailing me thinking I work
for Dauphin or something. The page is clearly an unofficial page, I
tried to make it clear that I can't send catalogs or tell people about how
Dauphin is doing. People are wasting my time and patience with dumb
questions that are answered already on the web page. This is
unsupported material. Don't bother me with dumb questions or
spelling errors unless it is truely important. Thankyou!
The Questions
- Q: Where can I buy a Dauphin DTR-1 or DTR-2?
- A: Your best bet is to get one used. Post a want-ad in comp.sys.pen, comp.sys.palmtops, comp.sys.handhelds, comp.sys.laptops, alt.support.dauphin. I list a number
of sources in the DTR-1 Info*Sheet.
Look there first. For DTR-2s, try CompUSA.
- Q: Can I upgrade the Memory or the CPU?
- A: PLEASE! Look at the web page! Gosh...theres only about 10 links
related to upgrades. Certainly it's too difficult to click that mouse
button on the down-arrow!
- Q: I want a catalog!
- A: Tough! I don't have any....honest! Please stop pestering me....I
don't know where to get one!
- Q: What is Dauphin's Phone Number/Address?
- A: Oh my...here we go again.... All of this info is on the web page!
You need to look before you e-mail! I don't mind intelligent e-mail, but
getting 30 of the same question a week is more than enough to piss people
off!

- A: Please don't e-mail me if you don't speak english!! I understand
some french, but german or afghanistanian is beyond me. I don't have any
friends who speak uzbekistanian either. ;)
