SUPPORT
Although there is an online, context sensitive help system, an online users manual
and a quickstart for Family Photo Album 1.0 users is also provided and available
from the Photo Organizer Suite Tool Launcher. All these documents are in HTML
format viewable with a web browser.

Also, in order to allow those new to digital image processing an easier start, a
few sample digital photos and a sample photo album are installed by default in the
./photos and ./albums subdirectories respectively of wherever Photo Organizer Suite
was installed. The demo version has a limited amount of these documents in order
to minimize the size of the download and the time involved. The full release version
of this suite is on CD-ROM and has a larger amount of sample material.

The Photo Organizer Suite product is currently intended to handle the two primary,
non-proprietary image formats used for photography today. The number of file
formats supported will grow in the future, but is currently limited to:

* Bitmap (*.BMP) - Greyscale, 8-bit, and 24-bit color formats are currently supported.
Note: references to 8-bit and 24-bit color *.BMPs are not to be confused with the display
   adapter settings.
* Jpeg (*.JPG) - Normally compressed jpeg is supported. (Multi-scan and other interleaved
   formats are not supported.

To find answers should you have any questions regarding the use of this product, be sure
to check our support site at http://www.virsysoft.com/fpa/support.html. Also, be sure to
watch for updates to Photo Organizer Suite as well as other new programs soon to be
introduced by VirSys Software. A freely available album reader is on track for release in
mid 1999 that should make it possible for you to email or post on the web album files to
someone who does not have the Photo Organizer Suite software. With this freely available
album reader, someone receiving an album will be able to view (but not modify) a digital
photo album file.
