WHAT IS IT?

Cache View is a viewer for the Netscape Navigator, Mozilla,
   and Internet Explorer caches.

You can open the cached files for viewing, and copy or move them
out of the cache. It will even reconstruct the names and directory
paths of the files for you. Cache View can also export the cache
listing to a CSV file for importing into databases or spreadsheets.
Cache View makes emptying the files in the cache easier than ever.
The intuitive Windows 95 interface makes Cache View easy to learn
   and even easier to use.

Cache View supports all versions of Netscape and Mozilla.
Cache View also supports Internet Explorer V3 and above.

Cache View extracts the following information about cached files
   from the fat.db file:
URL, Size (in bytes), MIME Type, Last modified date, Date the file
was downloaded, and the Expiry date.

Cache View is a 32 bit Windows program, and so requires Windows 95,
   98, NT, 2000, or Xp.

WHATS NEW?

Version 2.3.06 now has fully integrated support for "Gecko", the
browser engine used by Mozilla, and new versions of Netscape.
There are also a couple of minor cosmetic modifications and
   bugfixes in this version.

REGISTRATION

Cache View is a feature limited shareware program. This means that
you may happily use the program for as long as you like without
paying for it. BUT, you only have access to the basic feature set.
That is, new features added since the last freeware version are
   only accessible if you register.

If you find this software useful, I ask that you register it. I
would appreciate the support so that I can continue to provide
applications to the world at large at relatively little cost.
As a bonus for registering, you get to use the new features from V2.1,
such as support for Profiles, and free upgrades to all new versions which
   get released.

   To register, visit http://www.progsoc.uts.edu.au/~timj/cv/

The registration fee is only US$15. Thats a good deal.

INSTALLATION

Make sure you uninstall any previous version of Cache View before
    installing this version.
Then just unzip and run the Setup.exe program.
You may have to go into the View->Options menu the first time
you run Cache View to specify your cache directory.
