Quick Selection |

This shortcut allows you to quickly select blocks of messages by their posting date. |
| |
1. Choose the [Time Period] from the pull-down menu, from which you want to delete a message or messages. |
| |
 Choose one of the following choices: |
| |
 All messages posted Today |
| |
 All messages posted in the Past Week |
| |
 All messages posted |
| |
 All messages posted on a given day |
| |
 The dates listed are updated each time a new message is posted to the Forum. |
| |
 The number of messages posted on each date is listed in parenthesis. |
| |
2. Click  |
| |
 All messages posted in the selected time period will be listed in the Editing Frame. |
| |

| |
1. Check all the appropriate checkboxes next to each message you wish to delete: |
| |
 Check on [Delete Msg] to delete only selected message. |
| |
 Check on [Delete Msg & Replies], to delete the selected message and all its replies. |
| |
 Check on [Delete Entire Thread], to delete the selected message and all messages and replies in the selected message's thread. |
| |
Note: Use [Select All], [Deselect All] or [Select Inverse] as a shortcut to selecting multiple messages for deleting. |

Tips for Moderators |
| |
 Check with your Forum Administrators to know the exact scope of your capabilities. |
| |
You may be limited to deleting only your own messages or messages posted to your group. |
| |
If that is the case, you will not be able to delete some of the messages displayed, |
| |
nor have access to deleting replies and entire threads. |
| |
2. Click to submit your edits. |
| |
Warning: This is an immediate and non-reversible operation. |
| |
 Use caution before deleting messages to avoid deleting the wrong ones. |
| |
 To prevent mistakes, click on the Message Title link to preview the message in its thread context. |
