Ein Gott beschützt uns Tag u. Nacht;
Hältst du dich stets von Sünden rein,
Wird er auch immer mit dir sein;

Eine Birne in der Mitte durchschnitten
giebt 2 halbe. Nehme ich von einer Birne

* Anmerkung: Um den Kindern das Subtrahiren be-
greiflich zu machen, decke man mit der Hand die eine Hälfte zu.

illustrations (alternated with empty pages) in which the text is
incorporated. When reading this book in plain text format, it may
be difficult to understand all the details.
The plain text has been formatted with indentations and empty
lines in an attempt to make it 'look like' the illustrations.
In those cases the author used a picture of an object as part of
a sentence, the transcriber has converted it to text and placed

have been given a name by the author (and those names have
been used by the transcriber to change pictures to text)
