Thanks for publishing my letter in the May/June issue, on page 42. I still have not found a Russian text editor, however, I have created a TopCard file (RUSSIAN.PCX (ON DISK ICON)) with the Russian word for "hello" on it. Copy the RUSSIAN.PCX file to your 95LX's C:\_DAT directory, rename it TOPCARD.PCX.
You rename the file "TOPCARD.PCX" so that the 95LX treats it like its own TopCard, and allows the information you enter in the Owner information section of SET UP to appear along with the image. I left the inside of the frame blank for this reason. You can also go into SET UP, press Owner Picture-File, and enter RUSSIAN.PCX to get this image to show up on the screen. If you do it this way, however, the information you entered in Owner will not show on the screen.
I put a picture of a flying saucer on the right side of the frame. I couldn't get rid of the "Press a blue application key" message at the bottom line.
