A town A-M map - By Simon Burrows

`You stagger blindly around for hours, losing all sense of
`direction. Every building and every forest looks like the next,
`and even the wallpaper looks dull!! At the edge of town, you
`trip upon a rotting wooden pole, and as you squint up into the
`sunlight you see it before you, the answer to all your problems
`- a Tourist Information street plan of the town!! You look to
`the skies and cry a loud thank you to God, a wild three-cheers
`to Ordnance Survey, but, more than that, you give a hearty
`handshake to your saviour - Simon Burrows - who, once again, has
`come to your rescue with a beffudlement-quashing map to end all
`beffudlement-quashing maps!

`You can hardly believe your eyes as you stare at the map, but
`then you remember that really you can't see it because you're
`reading this. In excitement at the possiblity, and with a tinge
`of trepidation, you furtively clasp the mouse and click on "View
`Screen Shots" at the bottom of this text. As the gorgeous graphic
`of the map embraces the pixels of your Super Video Graphics Array
`Visual Display Unit, you realise that Ecstaticians really do know
`how to make a map!!!

`Alarmed at the seemingly unexplained highlight-points you fear
`the worst - have the Jewson constructors forgotten to add the
`key? Behold, though, for glancing down lower through this
`document, you seen the gaily red-coloured lines which can mean
`only one thing - location descriptions!!!!

Read on, chosen one...

~`A) THE BRIDGE
` Trying to cross this fiend will result in it snapping rather
` alarmingly!!

~`B) THE HERB SHOP
` The barrels found in the room at the back are a surprisingly
` good hiding place!!

~`C) A HOUSE
` There's no way into this private residence!!

~`D) THE CHURCH
` Here you'll find a bible and an effigy scattered untidily on
` the floor!!

~`E) THE INN
` Here lies a mace and a rather unsavoury dragon with the taste
` for a crusader's blood!!

~`F) THE STABLE
` Since Bedland have recently moved out of this area, the grass
` in here will have to suffice for a resting place on which to
` heal!!

~`G) MESSY ROOM
` The cupboard makes another good hiding place, and there's
` also a charming table which will attack you when you take the
` dagger laid upon it!!

~`H) THE SORCERESS' RESIDENCE
` Simply enough, to avoid a blow from the drunken bear, run
` past it!!

~`I) MORTUARY??!!!
` Here lies a woman stabbed to death, and an exit to the
` outside world!!

~`J) THE OLD KNIGHT'S ABODE
` Where the old knight lives, perhaps??

~`K) ANOTHER BORING LITTLE ROOM
` Armour and a sword reside here, it is said...

~`L) THE BARREL HOUSE
` Barrels...barrels...barrels and more barrels...

~`M) ANOTHER HOUSE
` Another private residence not worth a look at (and not
` possible to take a look at either)

~`Good luck young adventurer, now the path is lit before you...
