ROBOTRON PRINTER K6313
2017, MCbx
This is an extract from German manual describing configuration and interfacing. Manual from www.tiffe.de.
Printer won't go to online mode when opened. This is normal. About drivers, it works in pure ASCII mode. According to Robotrontechnik website, it may emulate Epson FX80, drivers for FX400 may work too, but I haven't managed my unit to work in these modes.
If after lifting cover you don't see tape cartridge, but two reels of tape, it means that it prints using typewriter tape. Good quality typewriter tape may be used.
Printer has two cartridges: Interface cartridge is for interfacing it to different computers. It offers serial port, Centronics or IFSS connectors, depends on module inside cartridge. It can be removed from the rear by pressing a latch and pulling module out.
Another module is located inside, on the right from printhead in its leftmost position. If you want to replace it, screw has to be losened and piece of metal removed by pulling it left and removing. This is font ROM cartridge.

Tuning the pressure:
It's on the left of print head's end. Loosen the wing screw, rotate the nut, tighten the screw. Note the cuts on it, default is two.

DIP-SWITCHES
Off is towards left, ON towards right.
Numbering:

ON   OFF - 11-inch
OFF  ON  - 6-inch
ON   ON  - 5.5-inch

Sometimes:
14-1 - ON turns NLQ mode on.

Next switches are characteristical for interface cartridge used. This is for V.24 interface. And for IFSS except 17-2, it's unused in IFSS.
14-1 - Not used / see above.

10  -    PE <- ??

PE - Paper End - high level on it means that there is no paper. Probably used in some automated printer tasks. ?Indicates ON-LINE too?

All other not connected. Usually you need a full null-modem to get it to work:
Rx->Tx, Tx->Rx, DTR->DSR, DSR->DTR, RtS->CtS, CtS->RtS.

SLCT - SELECT IN, AFXT - AUTO FEED XT, /INIT - they work only if DIP switches are configured properly.
+5VR - 5V through 3K3 resistor?
+5V - maximum 80mA current draw.

PARALLEL PORT DRIVER:
