Saving RAM drive space in HP 200LX by relocating locale kit files

If you use HP 200LX's KEYBEZ utility to set keyboard locale you have to extract HP100LX.KIT and HP100LX.FON files to your RAM drive. They occupy about 32kB of RAM drive and... are useless during 200LX usage! They're needed to load locale settings and fonts only in a boot stage, when KEYBEZ is called. You can save RAM drive space by copying extracted files to A: flash drive and adding this to autoexec.bat:

del c:\hp100lx.kit

del c:\hp100lx.fon

copy a:\os\hp100lx.kit

copy a:\os\hp100lx.fon

keybez pl

del c:\hp100lx.kit

del c:\hp100lx.fon

Change A:\OS\ directory to directory where you extracted hp100lx.kit and fon files. Change pl to your language. This will copy the files to RAM drive, load KEYBEZ and remove files.

Now you must have this 32kB free only on LX startup.
