XT 8086

At first, it was a nice IBM 5160 computer. It was unfortunately heavily upgraded, with replacing a mainboard in 1980s. The mainboard was replaces with an 8MHz Taiwanese "Turbo XT" board and then co-processor was added. Then, 320kB disk drive and SCSI hard disk were added, with EGA graphics board as an addition to Hercules. This set-up was used with multi-port serial board as a CAD station driving multiple plotters to make a 6 copies of the same drawing at once.
Unfortunately this machine is not much 5160, and only casing survived.

My unit was bought from German company where it was already upgraded with this 8MHz board. The company which bought it in mid-1990s made lots of designs using CAD-D package, and had a few plotters. This machine was then customized to drive 6 plotters simultaneously - a Decision Systems board has been added and EGA board to support this CAD package. The modem has been probably added later as its the latest board in the set.
There are 2 BIOSes in the board. One is not used, and accessible with jumper. This crude hack has been made because the pirated version of CAD software needed specific version of BIOS to run multiple plotters without hardware dongle.

Important information about Seagate ST01 SCSI controller: Please don't use it if drive is not 100% verified and has no bad sectors at all. First of all, its SCSI compliance is quite limited. Second, if there is a bad sector, it will try until it reads garbage and then it will return this garbage as data.
