| HOW TO COMPENSATE FOR THE 2010 YEAR LIMIT IN THE BUILT-IN CMOS SETUP   |

Background: The 2010 limit is only within the built-in CMOS SETUP part of BIOS, nowhere else.


The following procedure only needs to be done once.

STEP 1:  Use the built-in CMOS SETUP, setting any date.

STEP 2:  Boot to DOS.

STEP 3:  Use the DATE command in DOS to set the correct date, noting that when doing so, you must use a 4-digit year (e.g. "2017")
