1. Introduction

If a WINNER graphics board (e.g. WINNER 1000PRO) on the VL or
PCI bus and a second, non-VGA graphics board (e.g. WINNER
1280) are used at the same time, they may be connected via the
	feature connector.

In this case only one of the hardware color palettes may be
programmable, depending on the bus type (VL or PCI). This can
cause incorrect colors to be displayed by one of the graphics
	boards.

The SNOOP program allows to define the behavior of palette
programming. This enables the user to see the correct colors on
his monitor if it is connected to the second graphics board and
displays the VGA screen via the feature connector.

1.1 Graphics boards on the VL Bus, WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
        1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:

SNOOP allows to choose wether only the color palette on the
VGA board or both color palettes can be programmed.

1.2 Graphics Board on the PCI Bus with the exception of WINNER
        1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER 1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:

SNOOP allows to define which color palette can be programmed.
It is not possible to activate both palettes at the same time.

You should select "SNOOP OFF" before running Windows or other
high resolution applications on the PCI WINNER graphics board.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Using SNOOP

	Command line syntax:

		SNOOP [ON/OFF]

	Command line parameters:

ON: VL graphics boards, WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
             1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:
The color palettes of both graphics boards will be
	     programmed.

PCI graphics boards without WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
             1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:
The color palette of the second graphics boards will be
	     programmed.

This setting is used to display the VGA screen via the
feature connector on the monitor connected to the second
	     graphics board.

OFF: Only the color palette of the VGA graphics boards will be
	     programmed.

This setting is used to display high resolution graphics
(Windows, CAD etc.) on the monitor connected to the WINNER
	     VGA board.

(none): The SNOOP program will display a help screen an the
current setting when called without command line
	     parameters.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. Cable connection

Connect the ELSA VL/PCI-board with the flat conductor cable to
the second graphics board. Only for ELSA WINNER 1000TRIO and
WINNER 1000TRIO/V the cable have to be twisted one times.
