          The Heinkel He219C-2 "JADGBOMBER"

The Heinkel office began work in May 44 on two new versions
of the He219, one of which was the He219C-2 Jadgbomber. The
plane had a larger wing area and improved aerodynamics, with
a 4 man crew. The tail ended in a Rheinmetall-Borsig HDL 131
V hydraulically-operated turret which had 4 x MG131 13mm
machineguns. Although pressurized and armored, the tail
turret was cramped and required a small person to man it.
Two Mk 103 30mm cannon were mounted below the cockpit as the
forward firing armament. There was no "Schraege Musik" or
radar, this design falling into the category of
"schnellbomber", but there were mounts for 3 x 1102 pound
bombs beneath the centerline. The top speed was to be 419
mph, with a range of 1,118 miles at 313 mph, and a ceiling of
39,370 feet. Initial rate of climb was 1,650 feet/minute.

To use the tail gunner, access it normally as you would a B-
17 position, ie press G, then 2 for the tail gun. All other
gun positions have zero ammo.
