The ME209HV-1 was proposed fighter aircraft that was based ont he high speed
record holder aircraft built by Messerschmitt.
The Me209HV-1 had an extended vertical tail fin and extended wing tips for
high altitude interception. The plane's cockpit was pressurized and was
covered by the relatively frameless "Galland Hood" canopy fitted to late war
Me109s. The plane itself was powered by a DB627B 12 cylinder inline liquid
cooled inverted Vee engine that had a nose radiator similar to the Jumo
powered Fw190D-9 and the Ta152 series of planes. Top speed was 460 mph.

This plane was created by John Massey a former PRODIGY BOB GROUP member and
no longer on PRODIGY or in the SWOTL GROUP.
To use this plane copy it to the \AC subdirectory. Then make a backup of one
of the two 109 SPC files. Copy the Me209HV1.EXP file into the target SPC file.
The select any mission in SWOTL that utilizes that BF109 plane.

To facilitate easier use of the this plane I have created two batch files to
make installing and removing this plane easier. ME209.BAT and NO209.BAT.
