STOP MARAUDING US FIGHTERS

Mission number of Me 163 tour: 5

After the D-Day in June 1944, allied
fighers were stretching out their range
from captured airbases in France, and
later also the Low Countries.
With allied fighers ranging across all
Europe and Germany, many German airfields
were under constant attack; so several
allied pilots claimed to have catched
Me 163s around their airbases, taking off,
landing or on test runs.

YOUR MISSION

You are just about to take off for an
advanced training mission as ground
control reports several enemy fighters
heading for your airfield. Your flight
of three Me 163s is the only one that
is combat-ready at the time, so it's your
job to dispatch the P-47s and P-51s.
You are the wingman, so let your leader
bring the flight to attack.
Remember: you don't have much time or
ammunition in your Me 163 to do damage
to the US fighters!
