BOMB AND STRAFE A GERMAN AIRFIELD

After the D-Day in June 1944, allied
fighers were stretching out their range
from captured airbases in France, and
later also the Low Countries.
With allied fighers ranging across all
Europe and Germany, all German airfields
were under constant attack; immense num-
bers of airplanes were lost to US fighters
while taxiing, taking off and landing.

YOUR MISSION

Take off from Roye airfield and lead
your flight of four P-51s to strafe and
level-bomb the airfield at Meaux.
You needn't climb very high, cruise at
2500-3000 feet and go into a shallow dive
to throw your bombs. Strafe the buildings
and airplanes parked there and attack
any other Huns that might operate in that
area.
