Gunnery Practice

The P61A was well-liked by
its crews, who found it to be
very durable, VERY maneuverable,
and fast "enough." Even after the
turrets were removed due to buf-
feting trouble, the 4 20mm cannon
provided sufficient firepower to
quickly dispatch all comers. In
this training flight, you will
be pitted against Germany's most
common night fighter, the Ju88.
The Ju88G-7 was an exercise in
stop-gap production, yet it was
a successful night fighter none-
theless. It was reasonably speedy
(particularly those examples with
MW 50 boost) and had respectable
armament, including a rear defensive
machinegun.
ORDERS: You will be attacked by waves
of Ju88G-7s. Practice shooting them
down and evading their attacks. You
cannot be damaged and you have unli-
mited ammo.
NOTE: You may insert the Ju388J2 into
the Fw190A8 slot to replace the Ju88G-7.
