ATI VGA Edge series
Alongside ATI's first 2nd-gen card, the VGA Wonder+, 1990 also saw the release of the VGA Edge series which comprised the EDGE-8 (an 8-bit ISA card) and EDGE-16 (a 16-bit ISA card).

Designed to be low-end budget cards with the VGA Wonder+ at the higher end, they offered 800 x 600 resolution in 16 colours, and served as a price-sensitive upgrade for those still on the EGA standard.
Because of the budget-nature of the EDGE series, they omitted the 9-pin digital TTL output port as well as the bus mouse port found on the more premium ATI cards.
