PIM/LX Version 2.3

Released: 18 May 2005

Updated by Daniel Hertrich. The underlying PE program has not changed, andis still at Version 3.0. PIM/LX version 2.3 changes are documented in file history.pim which is in the archive file PIM.ZIP.

Daniel Hertrich took over maintenance of the product in 2004 and has released version 2.0. Please download the archive and check the history file for the detailed information.

Here is what Andreas writes in the announcement as a description of PIM/LX:

I stopped using the built-in applications of the palmtop
(ApptBook, PhoneBook, NoteTaker) and use PE.EXE and PIM.EXE
to do all that those applications provide - and quite a bit
more. PE.EXE is the core of all and is simply a new version
of PalEdit, which supports PIM features. PIM.EXE is a
program that is able to visualize your data in many ways.

This program is quite sophisticated and takes a bit of work to get used to. The rewards are rich! You can now manage large amounts of information of all sorts, many appointments, alarms, categorization of items and cross-referencing of data.
