Like its best-selling predecessor, Video Blaster FS200 is a digital video capture and overlay card that adds live as well as digitized video to multimedia applications from sources including video cameras, VCRs and Laserdiscs. New features include pixel interpolation which allows for full motion and full screen playback, chroma and color keying, special effects such as flip and fade, resolution of up to 800X600 at 64K colors and no RAM limitation. Enhanced Features Video Blaster FS200 allows users to integrate video with enhanced features in both hardware and software. Advanced software features enable direct output of images to a laser printer, saving user-defined image size to a file and vice versa, as well as copying an image to and from the clipboard. Enhanced hardware features of Video Blaster FS200 include pixel interpolation which allows for full screen, full motion playback of video files. In addition, there is no longer a 16 MB RAM limitation, enabling Video Blaster FS200 and 16 MB RAM to co-exist on one system for increased productivity. Video Blaster FS200 also supports S-video input for higher quality video display. Image Overlay and Manipulation Video Blaster FS200 incorporates a number of new features that provide users with creative control and integration of video files. Users can export live video to other applications utilizing the newly added chroma and color key features. Re-size, flip, fade and crop image capabilities are also available. Video Blaster FS200 will be available during the first quarter of 1994 at a suggested retail price of $499.95.
