Please download the compressed file 05pu_w98.exe to your hard disk drive. When this file is decompressed (executed), you will be prompted to select a folder to store the decompressed files; we strongly recommend the default "TEAC USB Floppy Drive". Once you select the folder, click the Unzip button. Once the files have been decompressed, click the OK and Close buttons to close the Extracting Utility. You can now follow the instructions on your installation guide to successfully install the Windows 98 drivers. If you don't have the installation guide, you will find it as one of the decompressed files in PDF format (FD05PUB.PDF); you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to view and print the guide. Make sure to select the folder you chose above as the location of the driver software.
The TEAC drivers are already embedded in these environments, and there is no need to install any drivers. The FD05PUB will be detected automatically by your system, and the floppy icon under My Computer and Device Manager will appear immediately.
