ワイヤストリッパ　買い　　　to [English Note]

0.2㎜φの"線の皮むき"が出来るらしい「ワイヤ・ストリッパ」を買ってみた。（図１　￥９４８送料込み）

現在、それが出来るはずの「ストリッパ」を持っているのだが、使用頻度が上がって来た為か、刃の切れ味が悪くなっていて、皮／被覆が綺麗に剥けない時が多い。（図２［クリック］）
"太めの線"を使えば良いのだが、生憎、私の手持ち品で、"太い"のはいずれも被覆が熱に弱くて、半田付けの際に、端部が熔けて醜くなるので、あまり楽しくない。

それに、最近では、"0.5mmピッチ・ピンなどへの半田付け"も必要になって来たので、益々、0.2mmφ～0.3mmφの線を使う必要が増して来ている。

今回は、比較的安価そうに見えたので、"そは、実力や如何に？"と買ってみた。
少し、試してみたが、なかなか良さそうな感じだ。
ただ、（私の）欲を言えば、もう少し小型で、狭い処に突っ込んでも、扱えるようなものの方が、有難いのだが。

試しに、0.2㎜φ線の被覆を剥いてみた。（図３）
きちんと、皮だけが剥けた♪

これなら、今までの様に、適当に力加減をしながら、両方に引っ張る動作をしなくても、上手く剥けそうだ。
ただ、短いリード線の片側だけを先に、半田付けしてしまうと、他の片側を剥く時は苦労するかもしれない。
さから、先に両方を加工しておいて、両側を次々に半田付けするのが、良いのだろうな。
（．．．でも、私は、線長を見誤ることが多いので、あまりそうした方法は、得意ではないのだが、まぁ、慣れてみよう！）

I bought a "wire stripper" that seems to be able to "peel the wire" of 0.2 mmφ. (Fig.1　\ 948 including shipping)

Currently, I have a "stripper" that should be able to do that, but probably because the frequency of use has increased, the sharpness of the blade has deteriorated, and there are many cases where the skin/seald coat cannot be peeled off cleanly. ( Fig.2 [click] )
It might be better to use a "thick wire", but unfortunately, the "thick" ones of mine are all vulnerable to heat, and the edges melt and become ugly when soldering, so it's too much. not fun.

In addition, recently, "soldering to 0.5mm pitch pins, etc." has become necessary, so it is becoming more and more necessary to use wires of 0.2mmφ to 0.3mmφ.

This time, it seemed to be relatively cheap, so I bought it for estimating "How is the ability?"
I tried it a little, but it looks pretty good.
However, as (my) greed it would be better to be more little, and be able to handle at narrow space.

As a test, I stripped the 0.2 mmφ wire. ( Fig.3 )
Only the skin was peeled off properly.♪

In this case, it seems that it can be peeled off well without pulling to both sides while adjusting the force appropriately as before.
However, if I solder only one side of the short lead wire first, I may have a hard time peeling off the other side.
So, I think it's better to process both first and then solder both sides one after another.
(... But I often misunderstand the line length, so I'm not very good at that method, but let's get used to it !)
