Cabling Information




Floppy drive  (diskette drive)

You need to use the particular cable shown at here.  The IBM controller expects it.  The cable manipulates both the motor-on and drive-select lines.

Hard drive  (fixed disk)

You have a choice between using a flat (untwisted)(straight-through) control cable, or a twisted control cable.
Check to see which of the two you have, then use the corresponding option below.


OPTION #1:  Flat (untwisted)(straight-through) control cable
