TITLE:  NumLock w/Ext Numeric Keypad-Ascentia P
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   Enabling NumLock on an external Numeric Keypad also activates 
   NumLock on the internal keyboard. This causes some of the 
   alphabetical characters on the internal keyboard to be 
   re-assigned to numeric characters, thus defeating the purpose of 
   an external Numeric Keypad. This information applies to all 
   Ascentia P systems.    
 
 
NOTES 
 
   To enable NumLock on an external Numeric Keypad independently of 
   the internal keyboard on the Ascentia P notebook, perform the 
   following procedure IN SEQUENCE.
   
   Press the NumLock key on the external keyboard or keypad. Then, 
   press [Ctrl+Fn+NumLock] on the internal keyboard. 
   
   NumLock should now be enabled ONLY on the external keyboard or keypad.
