TITLE:  Crystal 3D Sound Icon Functionality
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   Under Windows 95, an icon titled "Crystal 3D Audio Control" may 
   be present on some Ascentia A systems. The user may find the icon 
   under the Accessories, Multimedia tabs. 
   
   This issue affects the following part numbers: 503150-503 and 
   503151-503.    
 
 
NOTES 
 
   When the user double-clicks the Crystal 3D Audio Control program 
   icon, nothing will happen. In addition, the system will not 
   generate any  messages, leaving the user to believe that 
   something is wrong.
   
   This occurs because the version of the Crystal Semiconductor 
   drivers, which ship with the system, support both the CS4236 and 
   the CS4237 audio chips.  
   
   For those systems which utilize the CS4237 audio chip, the 
   program operates as designed, allowing the user to configure the 
   3D audio function.
   
   This issue affects the following part numbers: 503150-503 and 
   503151-503.
