TITLE:  AST Display Quality Standard
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   This document serves as a guide to determine acceptable defect 
   criteria of the AST 13.3" TFT display.
   
   This bulletin refers to mobile systems using the AST 13.3" TFT 
   display panel.    
 
 
NOTES 
 
   AST specification defines a section called "Display Appearance 
   Inspection Criteria" which outlines the maximum allowed defects.
   
   Appearance criteria for the AST 13.3" Display Panel:
   
   Line of View shall be at 90 degrees.

   Definitions:                                                            
   
   Bright/Dark Dot - A sub-pixel (R, G, B, dot) stuck ON/OFF
   Multiple connected dots - Seen as small scratch/line or large 
   dot.
