Both boards are configured for "enhanced" mode. User cannot read I/O buffer. (PR#A53002) - When the FourPort is installed in a Compaq 386/20 system, data must be sent to port number two to have the data appear at port number one. This occurs when using the COMMBIOS driver program. (PR#A53003) - When installed in IBM PC as COM1:, FourPort will transmit but will not receive. (PR#A53005) - DOS drivers did not work with Borland "Turbo Pascal" version 4.0. Ports could not be accessed with Pascal routines. (PR#A53007) - FourPort/DOS drivers would not work with Microsoft "Fortran" version 4.01. A "Null pointer error" is generated when linking the FourPort object modules with Fortran modules. (PR#A53008) - The FourPort board would not operate in a Unisys XT clone. Interrupts are generated on IRQ 3 even though the FourPort board may be set for IRQ 4.
