                       PREMIUM EXEC DATA MODEM SOFTWARE

This is an update to the MTEZ Data Modem Software program shipped with the
Premium Exec 2400 Data Modem Option Kits and it includes enhancements,
changes and problem fixes of the previous version.

    CHANGES:

    The following changes are incorporated in Release 1.10 of the MTEZ Modem
    Software:

    ASTMODEM.EXE rel. 1.00

    - The Premium Exec Modem Control Utility provides an additional method
      for AST Premium Exec users to enable or disable an installed internal
      modem option to further increase battery life.  Previously, this
      program was shipped as the Premium Exec Modem Control Utility Diskette,
      P/N 910439-031.

    MODEM.BAT

    This batch file has been added to this release and reads as follows:

    - astmodem on
    - mtez %1 %2 %3 %4 %5
    - astmodem off

    INSTALL.BAT

    This file has been changed to accommodate installation of ASTMODEM.EXE
    and MODEM.BAT.
