                   PREMIUM EXEC DATA/SEND FAX MODEM SOFTWARE

This is an update to the BitSoft Modem Software program shipped with the
Premium Exec 2400 Data/Send FAX Modem Option Kits and includes enhancements,
changes and problem fixes of the previous version.

CHANGES:

The following changes are incorporated in Release 1.11 of  the Premium Exec
Data/Send FAX Modem Software.

    ASTMODEM.EXE rel. 1.01

    - Program now sets COM2 port address at 02F8h when ASTMODEM is ON and
      clears it when ASTMODEM is OFF.

    - Program now clears stray byte when powered on via ASTMODEM ON.

    PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

    - The BitSoft Modem Software is shipped with the optional Premium Exec
      Data/Send/FAX 2400 Modem.  This program provides the software interface
      that allows the user to use the modem's Data/Send/Receive and FAX send
      capabilities.

    ASTMODEM.EXE rel. 1.00

    - In addition to the BitSoft program, the Premium Exec Modem Control
      Utility, ASTMODEM.EXE, is also included on the diskette.  This utility
      provides an additional method for users to enable or disable the
      installed internal modem to further increase battery life.
