This is the initial production release of AST's adaptation to Microsoft's MS-
DOS 5.0. Listed below are the modifications and enhancements made by AST to
this software.

    MODIFICATIONS:

    - AST MS-DOS 5.0 is distributed on two high density 5.25" or 3.5"
      diskettes.

    - MS-DOS.SYS and IO.SYS and the OEM serial number have been changed to
      IBMDOS.COM and IBMBIO.COM .

    - Modifications to KEYB.COM to remove CPU timing-dependant loops.

    ADDITIONS:

    - Support for high density third floppy drive.

    - Support for 63 sector limit in FDISK.

    - Installation of the DOSSHELL in black and white mode for the AST
      Premium Exec LCD displays.

    - Support for three new countries: Greece, Iceland and Turkey.
