SUMMARY 
 
   File 10450316.EXE contains version 2.23, disk 1 of 1, of the Server  
   Advanced Diagnostics. 
 
   This update applies to the following systems: 501500, 501502, 501503, 
   501530, 501723, 501757, 501797, and 501830. 
 
   This is an update to the Server Advanced Diagnostics.  This release 
   is intended to produce a bootable diagnostic diskette.   


RESOLUTIONS 
 
   Fixed VGA RAM test failure with Manhattan G. 
   Fixed DMA test failure (hanging) if DPT PCI diskarray is installed. 
   Fixed "invalid resource" error in the Barberpole Printer test. 
   Fixed Wrap Mode test failure in the Mouse test, with Logitech M-S34 
   mouse. 
   Fixed inaccurate 12-volt reading with the Manhattan P/V due to  
   wrong A/D scaling factor. 
 
 
ENHANCEMENTS 
 
   Enhanced the DPT SCSI PCI Array controller test to support multiple 
   SCSI channels.  The test now can support up to the maximum of three 
   channels available for each DPT PCI SCSI card.  Since the test  
   supports up to four DPT PCI cards, maximum of 84 SCSI devices can 
   be tested.

   NEW FEATURES 
 
   DPT SCSI Disk Controllers 
   This version of the SCSI Disk tests detects the new PM2022A Caching 
   Disk Controller with the Smart Cache III.  
 
 
   ERRATA 
 
   Parallel Port Internal Loopback test.  There is an anomaly with 
   the internal loopback test when it is executed with an external 
   printer attached.  Some low cost dot matrix printers may cause  
   this test to fail.  In the event that the user experiences an  
   unexpected error with this test, and the printer that is connected 
   is known to be otherwise functioning correctly, disconnect 
   the printer and retry the test. 
 
 
NOTES 

   Platform compatibility: This program is backward compatible 
   with version 2.22.  This program is intended to be run on Manhattan 
   server systems only.  
 
   When attempting to run this program on a Manhattan SMP, an error 
   will be displayed indicating the user is running the incorrect 
   program.  To test SMP systems, use Server Advanced Diagnostics with
   part number 910595-035.  File SMP3.EXE is available for download
   from AST's On-Line! services.  For additional information, see 
   Software Bulletin # 0131 (0131SB.TXT) on AST's On-Line! services.
 
   When attempting to run this program on a Manhattan S/6200 and a
   Manhattan Commerce Pro, an error will be displayed indicating 
   the user is running the incorrect program.  To test Manhattan 
   S/6200 and a Manhattan Commerce Pro systems, use Advanced 
   Diagnostics with part number 912796-032. This file ships with the
   system and is not available for download from AST's on-line services.
