                          DPT EISA SCSI HBA DRIVERS


The table below lists the current release of all drivers for the DPT EISA
SCSI Host Bus Adapter:

Below is a history of updates of the drivers for all of the operating systems
supported in descending part number order.  The SCO Unix drivers have not
been updated since their initial release.

Note that this release is an update to the DOS Drivers diskette only (part
number 910452-006 and -036) of the EISA SCSI Host Bus Adapter drivers.

    ENHANCEMENTS:

    - Revised the !DPTA401.CFG, !DPTA402.CFG and !DPTA502.CFG files to
      configure a second HBA to use interrupt 11 LEVEL.

    - Revised the !DPTA401.CFG, !DPTA402.CFG and !DPTA502.CFG files to
      configure a second HBA to disable the on-board SMARTROM.

    - Revised the !DPTA401.CFG, !DPTA402.CFG and !DPTA502.CFG files to set
      the SCSI ID of the hard drive to be emulated as WD1003 drive 0 to
      DISABLED.

    ENHANCEMENTS:

    - New Netware 3.11 device driver PM12NW31.DSK (Novell Certified).

    - Added DPTDDL.NLM ASPI translator for ASPI tape support.

    ENHANCEMENTS:

    - Added DISK01.SYS for OS/2 support of the DPT PM2012B2/90 FAST SCSI HBA.

    - Added DPT201X.BID for replacement of the Microsoft driver in their
      LADDR release of OS/2.

    - Added DPT_PASS.DLL and DPTINFO.EXE to enable additional features under
      OS/2.

    - Added DPTDDL.SYS for ASPI Tape Manager compatibility under DOS.

    - Added support for Hitachi and Toshiba CD-ROM devices.

    - Added support for removable disks.

    PROBLEM RESOLVED:

    - The program DPTFMT.EXE now sets the correct drive type in CMOS setup
      during UNIX installation.
