New Features: New Windows NT 3.5x driver, SYMC8XX.SYS, 8/25/95. The driver overrides a Windows NT 3.5x I/O timeout of 10 seconds. I/O timeout is increased to 30 seconds to allow sufficient time for sensing of disk drives. Revision 1.08 provides the following enhancements and problem resolutions: This update is based on the previous release of the NCR SCSI drivers P/N 911283-311. This update was created to include a patch to correct a problem encountered on the Manhattan G platform with Novell NetWare v4.1. The Manhattan G platform failed to boot the Novell NetWare v4.1 OS, so Novell created a patch to bypass this problem. No changes were made to the NCR driver versions. SCSIDISK - Auto resize after init to save 12KBytes. - Now allows exclusion of specified devices. - Provides protection for removable media. - Provides enhanced debug features. Diskette 1 of 2 was changed to include an updated Windows NT v3.5x driver. AT This release is identical to the previous release, this is a new image as the earlier one had a virus detected. The Virus was call JOSHI and was in the boot sector of the floppy disk. AC Added support for SCO UNIX Release V (five) code named EVEREST. This driver is backward compatible and can be used on SCO 3.2 v4.2/ODT 3.0.
