The drivers for SCO UNIX 3.2.4 and ODT 2.0 are also included. The diskette for the SCO driver is in UNIX Tar Format. This release contains the following problem resolutions and enhancements: PROBLEMS RESOLVED System crash when running Xwindow within Microsoft Windows. This bug is within the AMD 1.3 driver release. Floppy disk backup failure when running heavy network in the windows background. This failure is cause by the long DMA burst cycle of the AMD Ethernet controller. Driver name in OEMSETUP.INF is incorrect for NDIS 2.01 driver. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 2.x. When installing either NDIS 2.01 driver or NDIS 3.0 driver, the keyword , Drivername, in OEMSETUP.INF is setup as 'Drivername=PCNTN3$' ( the NDIS 3.0 driver name). The user has to edit the Drivername to PCNTND$ in PROTOCOL.INI manually for NDIS 2.01 driver to load correctly. Windows for Workgroups 3.11 - system hangs when NDIS 2.01 driver is loaded in high memory. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 2.0. After soft reboot on some PCI systems, NDIS 2.01 driver does not receive. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision:.2. ODI Server Driver v1.1 does not work with DMA 5, 6, and 7 in some machines. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. AMINSTAL v1.1 will lock up system with PCnet-ISA+ using National's 93c56 EEPROM. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. NDIS 3.0 driver v1.1 does not work with PCnet-PCI under NT on some PCI systems. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. ODI Server driver v1.1 will only work with IEEE address starting with 00. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. If the first byte IEEE address is not 00, no client may login to the server and the client shows an error message "No free connection slots." ODI Server Driver v1.1 fails Promiscuous Test while running Time Management System. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. ODI Server driver v1.1 cannot be loaded for 2nd PCI adapter. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. Installation problem for ODI Server driver v1.1 under Windows NT. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 2.0. SCO UNIX Driver v1.1 may stop Tx when Tx underflow happens. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: 1.2. Wrong MSM file in v1.1 release (Disk 2) Netware 3.12 directory. Rept. Driver Revision: 1.1, Fixed Driver Revision: The file \NOVELL\SERVER\3.12\MSM.NLM in Disk2 does not work with NetWare 3.12. The Netware 3.12 operating system needs the MSM31X.NLM file, not MSM.NLM. The AMD disk contains the MSM31X.NLM file which is placed in the NetWare Server 3.11 directory. Novell has released a newer version of these support files for NetWare 3.11/3.12/4.01. These new NetWare support files may be downloaded from the NOVLIB forum under Compuserve.
