SUMMARY

   File 12794037.EXE contains version 1.KN, disk 1 of 4, of the DPT 
   PCI SCSI Storage Manager Utility. This file contains DPT Storage 
   Manager Software. 
   
   File 12794038.EXE contains version 1.KN, disk 2 of 4, of the DPT 
   PCI SCSI Storage Manager Utility. This disk now contains drivers 
   for NEXT and UnixWare operating systems.
   
   File 12794039.EXE contains version 1.KN, disk 3 of 4, of the DPT 
   PCI SCSI Storage Manager Utility. This disk contains drivers for 
   Windows NT and SCO Unix operating systems.
   
   File 12794310.EXE contains version 1.KN, disk 4 of 4, of the DPT 
   PCI SCSI Storage Manager Utility. This disk contains drivers for 
   NetWare and OS/2 operating systems.
   
   This issue applies to the following systems: 501502, 501503, 
   501830, 501832, and 503076.

   
RESOLUTIONS

   Version 1.KN contains the following problem resolution:
   
   DPTCDROM.SYS (001.J6) was modified to (001.JA). This file fixes a 
   problem with Sony CD-ROM drives unable to read multi-session 
   CDROMs.   


ENHANCEMENTS

   Version 1.KN contains the following enhancement:
   
   Added file DPTFMTX.EXE which is a Low-Level format utility for 
   SCSI drives.   


PREVIOUS RELEASE(S)

   Previous releases included the following resolutions and 
   enhancements:
   
   Modified file DPTDDL.SYS to match the SmartRom change on the DPT 
   RAID controller 3224W (234440-003). This file is an ASPI Manager 
   file with a new version number 3DP.
   
   Modified file DPTCDROM.SYS,v001.JA, to fix a problem with Sony 
   CD-ROM unable to read multi-session CD-ROMs. The previous version 
   of DPTCDROM.SYS was v001.J1.
   
   Added file DPTFMTX.EXE which is a Low-Level format utility for 
   SCSI drives in release v1.02.
   
   Modified file DPTDDL.SYS to match the SmartROM change on the DPT 
   RAID controller 3224W (234440-002). This file is an ASPI Manager 
   file with a new version number 3D5  and it was incorporated on 
   DPT SCSI PCI Storage Manager diskettes v1.K.
   
   Initial Release v1.00 (1K) contained DPT SCSI PCI Storage Manager 
   for 3 Channel PM3224 Disk Array Controller (234440-001).


NOTES

   This software requires the DPT BIOS to be v3.DS in order to 
   function properly.
