SUMMARY

   File 13710031.EXE contains version 2.8 of the PHDISK utility for 
   the Ascentia J, Ascentia A, Ascentia P, Ascentia M and SENS Pro 
   500 and 52x systems, release 1.00. These systems use this utility 
   to create the sleep partition which is used for the Suspend to 
   Disk function.
   
   This software applies to all AST portable systems mentioned 
   above.

   USING THE SOFTWARE
   
   Standard Usage: 
   PHDISK [options]
   /CREATE (/FILE or /PARTITION) -- Create Standard file or 
   partition
   /DELETE (/FILE or PARTITION)  -- Delete existing Standard file or 
   partition
   /INFO                         -- Information on Standard disk 
   area(s)
   /REFORMAT /PARTITION          -- Reformat an existing Standard 
   partition
   
   
   Default Usage:
   PHDISK /CREATE /PARTITION  -- Allows for maximum RAM expansion
   
   
   Custom Usage:
   PHDISK /CREATE (SIZE) /PARTITION
   
   The SIZE is calculated by the following:
   (((Amount of RAM in MB)+(2MB))x(1024))
   
   Round any decimal up to the nearest whole number.
   
   
   Example:
   32MB of RAM:  ((32 + 2) x 1024) = 34752
   64MB of RAM:  ((64 + 2) x 1024) = 67520
   128MB of RAM: ((128 + 2) x 1024) = 133120
   
   NOTE:  You may not create a partition smaller than is needed for 
   the RAM on the unit where PHDISK is being executed.
