SUMMARY

   File 05632032.EXE contains version 1.05 of the AST Premium HS 
   system BIOS, release 1.10.
   
   This BIOS is flashable using the CTRL-HOME procedure. This BIOS 
   will not make changes to the boot block and does not contain the 
   embedded diagnostics portion of the system BIOS. The embedded 
   diagnostics portion should already be present in the system 
   because it is loaded at the factory.
   
   This software applies to the following system: 503461.

   
RESOLUTIONS

   Version 1.05, release 1.10, includes the following issue 
   resolutions:
   
   This BIOS fixed the issue in the previous BIOS where Windows NT 
   would not function if the field value in MP Support was set to 
   version 1.4. With this new BIOS, the field value can be set to 
   version 1.4 and Windows NT will operate normally.

NOTES

   After entering the Setup screen by pressing the [Delete] key 
   during boot, there is a SETUP window which contains an icon 
   labeled CHIPSET. The chipset section contains a field labeled MP 
   Support, which includes two options: version 1.1 and version 1.4. 
   Windows NT did not function properly with when the field value 
   was set to 1.4.
