                 PREMIUM 386SX/16 AND BIO ANALOGICS SOFTWARE


PROBLEM:       When executing Diet Center, proprietary software by Bio
               Analogics, the application displays the following error
               message: "Module must be executed from runner:DCI110-5/FF".

AFFECTED
SYSTEMS:       All AST systems using AWARD BIOS.

CAUSE:         The application has defined one of its parameters in memory
               location 40:C0 This location is in the BIOS Data Area, and is
               marked as reserved according to the AT Technical reference
               manual.  The AST BIOS uses 40:C0-C1 for status storage
               resulting in a conflict.

SOLUTION:      This is not an issue that AST can resolve.  It has been
               suggested that Bio Analogics change the location of their
               parameter outside of the reserved area or at least away from
               40:C0-C1.
