             UPDATING THE VIDEO REFRESH RATE IN PREMMIA SYSTEMS


PROBLEM:       The fields which allow updating of the video refresh rate do
               not appear in the "View or Edit Details" screen in the EISA
               Configuration Utility.

CAUSE:         This is a design function of the EISA Configuration Utility
               version 2.83 (part number 910743-032A).

AFFECTED
SYSTEMS:       All Premmia Systems.

SOLUTION:      After starting the EISA Configuration Utility and choosing
               "Configure Computer", choose "Step3.  Add or Remove Boards"
               from the menu.  Add "AST Premmia Integrated VGA" as an
               adapter.  Return to the "View or Edit Details" screen, where
               the video refresh rate fields will appear under the "Embedded
               AST Premmia VGA" field.
