                AST PREMIUM SE AND WINDOWS VIDEO MODE SUPPORT


PROBLEM:       After installing a 32K color video driver on a Premium SE
               running Windows 3.x, all colours will be displayed in shades
               of blue.

AFFECTED
SYSTEMS:       AST Premium SE systems using a system board with part number
               202472-00X.

CAUSE:         The Premium SE does not support 32K color video modes.

SOLUTION:      Configure Windows 3.X to operate with 16 or 256 colors.
