                POWEREXEC COMPUTER POCKET USER'S GUIDE ERRATA


PROBLEM:       User attempts to run the AST Confidence test and receives the
               error message "Non-System Disk or Disk Error".

CAUSE:         The AST Pocket User's Guide (part number 001665-001A),
               released on October 1992, makes reference to running the Test
               System Program.  This confidence test is no longer bundled
               with the PowerExec Utility software.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:      AST PowerExec Notebook family.

SOLUTION:      Run AST's Advanced Diagnostics Program or source another
               software diagnostic package.
