AST RESEARCH, INC. TECHNICAL BULLETIN #0878 12-2-93 GHOST RAM DETECTION WITH THE POWER EXEC 4/** SL SYSTEM PROBLEM: Ghost RAM is reported when using QEMM versions 6.2 and 7.01 on the Power Exec 4/** SL system. CAUSE: QEMM does a check of the CPU and while there leaves a "ghost" of itself. This results in a "phantom" that is detected when doing a RAM area check using utilities such as Manifest. This "ghost or phantom" image interferes with some network cards being recognized when installed into the Power Station.
