                         BRAVO LC HANGS DURING BOOT


PROBLEM:       The Bravo LC hangs during boot with one of two symptoms.
               Either a beep code nineteen is issued by the system, or there
               will be no activity on the screen at all.

CAUSE:         These situations occur when an Intel non SL-Enhanced processor
               is installed in the processor upgrade socket.  These types of
               processors may initialize with a non-defined state of the NMI
               (Non Maskable Interrupt), which is not supported by the Bravo
               LC motherboard.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:      Bravo LC and Advantage! Pro.

SOLUTION:      Replace the non-SL-Enhanced processor with an SL-Enhanced
               processor available from Intel.  The system board part number
               is 202594-XXX.
