                 BRAVO LC/ADVANTAGE! VL-BUS SCSI CONTROLLERS


PROBLEM:       Two VL-bus SCSI controllers experience problems when installed
               in the Bravo LC/Advantage! systems which support VL-bus
               adapters.

               1) The Forex model FR600AF does not allow hard drive
                  partitions to be formatted under Windows NT.

               2) The BusLogic model BT-445S does not function at all when
                  installed in the Bravo LC/Advantage! systems which support
                  VL-bus adapters.

CAUSE:         1) At this writing, Forex does not know the cause of this
                  problem.

               2) The BT-445S does not support the power management modes of
                  the Bravo LC.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:      Bravo LC with system board part number 202594-XXX.

SOLUTION:      1) At this time there is no solution from Forex.

               2) The solution is to replace model BT-445S with model BT445C.
