      NOVELL’S NE3200 ETHERNET CARD OVERHEATING IN EISA SYSTEMS


PROBLEM:        Novell has reported a heat problem affecting the NE3200
                Ethernet card, Revision H or lower.  This card is also sold by
                Eagle Technologies and Intel.

CAUSE:          There is a faulty component on the NE3200 card that is heat
                sensitive.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:       All AST EISA systems.

SOLUTION:       Upgrade the NE3200 to Revision I or higher.  Eagle Technologies
