                    MANHATTAN NETWARE 3.12 AND 4.01 AND SBACKUP


PROBLEM:        SBACKUP does not work with the Mylex DAC960 1, 3, and 5 channel
                cards (BIOS 1.03 and 1.05, and firmware 1.23).

CAUSE:          Load procedures have changed with NetWare 3.12 and 4.01.

SOLUTION:       The following is the required procedure for using SBACKUP:

                Netware 3.12                    Netware 4.01

                1. Load ASPIDAC.NLM             1. Load ASPIDAC.NLM
                2. Load TAPEDAI.DSK             2. Load TAPEDAI.DSK
                3. Load TSA312.NLM              3. Load TSA400.NLM
                4. Load SBACKUP.NLM             4. "SCAN FOR NEW DEVICES"
                5. Load SBACKUP.NLM                 (Enter the above
                                                    information in quotes)

NOTE:   With Netware 4.01, TAPEDAI.DSK is not copied from the CD-ROM
        during installation.  It must be manually copied to the systems hard
        drive.
