             ASCENTIA 900N EPP DRIVER COMPATIBILITY IN DOCKING STATION


PROBLEM:        When the Ascentia 900N is docked to the AST Power Station, the
                custom Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) device driver will not
                work with devices attached to the Power Station’s parallel
                port, (e.g., Xircom Ethernet Adapter).

CAUSE:          The EPP device driver shipped with Ascentia 900N computer is
                intended only for devices attached directly to the Ascentia’s
                parallel port.
