TECHNICAL BULLETIN # 0948 7-18-94 BRAVO LC AND LBA DRIVES RUNNING WINDOWS 32 BIT ACCESS PROBLEM: Unable to run Windows 32 bit disk access on LBA drives, such as the WD-1270 drive, in the Bravo system. CAUSE: Windows lacks an effective driver to support the Logical Block Address (LBA) translation mode. When operating in this mode, Windows 32 bit disk access is not supported. In order for the current version of the system BIOS to be effective in supporting this mode, the proper driver is required. Using this feature the LBA translation mode will not be enabled but the 32 bit Windows disk access will be supported.
