                           WINDOWS 3.1 PAINTBRUSH LIMITATION


PROBLEM:        When trying to print within Windows 3.1 Paintbrush, with a
                video resolution of 640x480, in 64K colors, the following
                error message appears on the screen:

                                  UNABLE TO PRINT

                There is not enough memory, or the printer is not installed
                properly.  Quit one or more applications to increase available
                memory, or check Control Panel to ensure that the Printer is
                installed correctly.  Then try again.

CAUSE:          Paintbrush does not support 64K colors.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:       All systems.

SOLUTION:       Set video mode to 640x480, 16 colors.
