                    PREMMIA MX AND PREMMIA GX COM4 CONFLICT


PROBLEM:         The system hangs when a COM port or other device is configured
                 to use I/O address 2E8-2EF (8 bytes) on the Premmia MX or
                 Premmia GX system.

CAUSE:           The ATI Mach 64 card uses I/O port 2EC, creating a conflict.

SOLUTION:       Do not use COM4 or other devices which use I/O port 2E8h when
                the Mach64 video card is installed in the system.  If it
                becomes necessary to install a device which must use I/O port
                2E8h, there are other video cards that do not conflict with
                this port.
